PROJECT MANAGER

(Ecological Construction)

FULL-TIME POSITION

The Project Manager (PM) takes ownership of schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. Working closely with Estimators and Foremen, the PM transforms awarded bids into executable field operations—coordinating materials, subcontractors, and compliance while ensuring efficient production and strong communication.

Starting salary based upon experience, but ranges from $60-90k. Benefits include: PTO, holidays, HRA, retirement match, and professional development support. Package DOE.

RESTORATION TECHNICIAN

FULL-TIME SEASONAL POSITION

The Restoration Technician (RT) works as a team on a wide variety of ecological restoration projects in several diverse plant communities. Projects may range from public/residential/commercial landscapes at various scales. This position primarily focuses on land management work (invasive species control, prescribed burning, etc.) with occassional opportunities in installation (seeding, planting, erosion control). RTs are expected to meet daily objectives regarding project goals, paces, and safely completing the work within a given time and budget. RTs are expected to drive the in-field work trucks on occasion. This position is physically demanding, requiring long, consecutive days performing repetitive tasks in various weather and topographic conditions. Projects are located in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.

Starting wages vary based upon experience, but ranges from $17.50-$21.00/hr. Employees are eligible for benefits such as prevailing wage, holiday pay, Earned Sick and Safe Time, retirement match, HRA, and annual gear stipend.

RESTORATION CREW MANAGER

FULL-TIME POSITION

The Crew Manager (CM) will supervise, train, and manage a crew of Restoration Technicians (RT) on a variety of ecological restoration projects. CMs work alongside RTs to implement public/residential/commercial landscapes ranging from small to large scale. This position primarily focuses on land management work (invasive species control, prescribed burning, etc.) with occassional opportunities in installation (seeding, planting, erosion control). CMs are expected to manage daily project logistics ensuring projects are completed on-time and budget. CMs are expected to drive the in-field work trucks. This position is physically demanding, requiring long, consecutive days performing repetitive tasks in various weather and topographic conditions. Projects are located in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.

Starting wages vary based upon experience, but ranges from $21.50-$23.00/hr. Employees are eligible for benefits such as prevailing wage, holiday pay, vacation time, retirement match, HRA, and annual gear stipend.

RESTORATION EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

FULL-TIME POSITION

The Restoration Equipment Operator (REO) runs skid loaders, tractors, and other large equipment such as excavators while conducting ecological restoration projects. Example projects include forestry mowing, tree shearing, tree planting, shoreline regrading and earth moving, seeding and mowing. Operators will also conduct general maintenance and small repairs on equipment and implements. While not operating or maintaining equipment, Operators will work alongside Restoration Technicians (RT) conducting a variety of ecological projects with small power equipment and hand tools. REOs are expected to meet daily objectives regarding project goals, paces, and safely completing the work within a given time and budget. REOs will be expected to safely load and drive the in-field work trucks with attached trailers. This position is physically demanding, requiring long, consecutive days performing repetitive tasks in various weather and topographic conditions. Projects are located in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.

LANDSCAPE LABORER FOREMAN

FULL-TIME SEASONAL UNION POSITION

The Landscape Laborer Foreman, union Labor Foreman classification, leads a field crew of 2–8 Landscape Laborers in implementing restoration and native landscaping projects on tasks primarily including seeding, planting, and erosion control. Additional tasks may include invasive species management, and prescribed fire. This role requires hands-on fieldwork in varied weather conditions and project sites. The foreman ensures safety, quality, and productivity while managing site logistics and mentoring crew members. These projects typically include work on commercial and public spaces across a wide range of scale and scope. Foremen are expected to meet daily objectives regarding project goals, paces, and safely completing the work within a given time and budget. Foremen are expected to drive the in-field work trucks on occasion. This position is physically demanding, requiring long, consecutive days performing repetitive tasks in various weather and topographic conditions. Projects are located in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.

Starting wages vary based upon experience, but ranges from $32-$37/hr for on-job, union covered work. Non-covered work may be available at a negotiated rate to be determined. Union members enjoy a suite of union benefits including but not limited to vaction, health coverage, and pension.

This position requires joining the union (LIUNA 563), which includes yearly dues and training obligations.

LANDSCAPE LABORER

FULL-TIME SEASONAL UNION POSITION

The Landscape Laborer (LL), classified as union Apprentice/Jorneyworker, works as part of a team on a wide variety of ecological restoration and native plant installation projets. These projects typically include work on commercial and public spaces across a wide range of scale and scope. Work generally includes soil work, seeding, erosion control, and planting. LLs are expected to meet daily objectives regarding project goals, paces, and safely completing the work within a given time and budget. LLs are expected to drive the in-field work trucks on occasion. This position is physically demanding, requiring long, consecutive days performing repetitive tasks in various weather and topographic conditions. Projects are located in the Twin Cities and Upper Midwest.

Starting wages vary based upon experience, but ranges from $25.33-$31.66/hr for on-job, union covered work. Non-covered work may be available at a negotiated rate to be determined. Union members enjoy a suite of union benefits including but not limited to vaction, health coverage, and pension.

This position requires joining the union (LIUNA 563), which includes yearly dues and training obligations.

Position Wage Descriptions

Base Rate/Hourly Wage

Hourly employess earn this when performing non-union covered, or non-prevailing wage work. This may include shop time, mobilization time, land management, and restoration. This is a non-union employee’s standard hourly compensation.

Union Wage

Union employees earn this rate when performing on-job union covered work. Non-covered work such as shop time, land management, etc would be at the employee’s base rate when/if performed. Only union members/employees can earn this rate. Select positions are considered union positions, noted within applicable position descriptions.

Prevailing Wage

Prevailing wages apply to some government funded jobs which Landbridge Ecological secures. This compensation is set by the government by locality and type of work. It applies only to on-job work, and an employee would earn their base rate for tasks such as shop time and/or mobilization. These wages are often more than an employees base rate, but an employee would never earn less than their base. Prevailing wage jobs are a proportion of the work which Landbridge secures, but are not guaranteed.
