Afton Creek Preserve is a residential development on the outskirts of Afton. Much of the landscape of the development is allocated to conservation easement. Work since 2021 has included managing establishment of existing restored prairies through invasive weed control and prescribed burning, removing buckthorn and low quality trees to create savanna, and installing new prairie parcels. Landbridge Ecological currently manages over 75 acres on this project, with the potential to add even more.
