Lebanon Hills Regional Park contains nearly 2,000 acres of diverse landscapes and trails in Dakota County. Our team conducted oak woodland restoration on approximately 60 acres using our state-of-the-art equipment and skilled chainsaw crews. Invasive herbaceous and shrub species (buckthorn, asian honeysuckle, and garlic mustard) were removed, along with exotic, diseased (oak wilt), and undesirable woody large tree species. Some of the larger diameter lumber was milled on site to be recycled and repurposed, creating a resource out of an otherwise wasted raw plant material. With the multiple site conditions our crew used adapted strategies to protect varying habitat and terrain conditions.
