Located on a freshly removed parking lot, this project is a testament to where unique ecosystems can be established to offset the lack of quality habitat in highly developed urban areas. Our team amended and restored the soils and plantings to a diverse prairie with pockets of shrubs and trees. Rattlesnake master, Prairie Sage, and Butterfly Weed are among the many unique species to be found on this University of Minnesota Rochester campus prairie.
